The Scene: Another schmidtster thing for money, 8:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Eastgate, 4501 Eastgate Blvd. with a entry fee of $200/person.

When I arrived at 8:05 a.m. there wasn't much happening. I was late.

As it happened, there didn't seem to be many people there already, and not too many showed up after I got there.

I suppose as far as the country and the world are concerned, the poor attendance is a good thing.

I stood out at Eastgate Blvd. and shared the signs with lots of people going elsewhere.
