The Scene: The University Club, 401 East Fourth Street, 5:00 - 7:00 p. for Judge Ptrk. Judge Patrick Dinkelacker, $250 per, and supposedly 5:30 - 7:00 for Rep. Mary Taylor for State Auditor at Queen City Club 331 East Fourth $250 ($350 for 2).

A passing woman took my picture shortly after I arrived around 4:45.

The dinkelacker thing was very well attended by older men in expensive suites. I saw a few younger guys and a couple of women going in, but it was mostly the older lawyers.

They were opaque, but with congenial exteriors. I told them the word of the day was christo-facism. It's a lot like islamo-facism, except it is the spawn of American neocons and religious evangelical fundamentalists. I also said before our bushies make any parallels to WW2, we should all look at who were the agressors and what were their behaviors (or just ask the folks in Poland or Ethiopia) in the 1930's.

It looked to me like nobody at all showed for the taylor thing.

As was the case last time I had the sign downtown, it got very little negative feedback, such as "I disagree" and a few negative waves or finger-signs, but I got tons of positive feedback, such as thumbs up, beebs, "thank you," and "I agree."

Notice:
Today's sign event page is dedicated to the many judges and auditors against the war.

More fun later,

Ray
