Monday, August 28, Grandin, Torrence, and Madison

The Scene: A wonderfully clean fresh afternoon, after storms all day, during which from 5 p - 7 p at 2180 Grandin Road a few of the local well-heeled gave money to Greg Hartmann during a fundraiser hosted by locals Susie & Bob Castellini. (Admission was at $500 minimum, special notice for $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000.)

Another beautiful day to protest western greed, ignorance, paranoia, arrogance, righteousness, and aggression.

The view along Grandin toward the "event."

The view from Grandin toward the sign.

A supporter took this picture of me with O'Bryonville along Madison over my shoulder.

Notice:
Today's sign event page is dedicated to the antiwar quote page, http://antiwar.com/quotes.php, where you can find this gem from Peter Ustinov: "Terrorism is the war of the poor, and war is the terrorism of the rich." (Of course, he also said... “uncontrolled photography is one of the blights of our time.”)

More fun later,

Ray
