The Scene: Per a notice that the dickster was coming to standup dinner... (per http://www.wcpo.com/news/2006/local/08/23/dick.html, as follows: 5:00 p. Thursday, August 24, 2006, Dennis and Pat Ott house, Cheney and Chabot scrounging up money, $2100 for photo, $1000 to stand around, doors to open at 3:00 and close at 4:30.

What a beautiful day to protest western greed, ignorance, paranoia, arrogance, righteousness, and aggression.

My information on their address was a bit out of date, so I got their old address, 3298 Bridgestone Ct, instead of the new address, 6467 Werk Road, but I was only off by a few blocks down Werk.

We found each other on this busy corner, and decided it was a good place to be.

The sign had lots of company at Werk and Glenway from fellow protesters Atia, Linda, and Richard.

Atia and Linda taught me about waving to the passers-by and blowing whistles to increase the effectiveness and fun of the action.

Then I went over to near where the event was in time to meet a couple more fellow protesters and see the dick slip out and away accompanied by a few of the local gendarmes.
