The Scene: Another beautifully hot summer afternoon in downtown Cincinnati. As is usual every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30, the Women In Black Vigil for Peace was present in the median of Central Parkway at the intersection of Vine Street. My friend Atia, with her ever increasing "number of American dead" sign, was there, too.
Atia even came across the road to take a picture of the sign.
There were far more beeps and waves of support than there were thumbs down, as one might expect in town. Notice:
