The Scene

Fundraiser for Jennette Bradley, appointed State Treasurer, for election to that position, 5:30 pm, US Bank Building, 425 Walnut St., 9th Floor. Contributions were requested but (strangely for this crowd) not specified.

The bank building was in the middle of a block that had construction on both corners, and the entrance was under a walkway, so it was a little dark and claustrophobic, but a worthwhile outing even so.

I also forgot my camera, so I took a couple of quick snapshots with my phone.

I arrived in time to greet the guest of honor, but I must say it didn't seem like there were supporters arriving in droves.

I had a single flipped bird, a few shaken heads, and one fellow who simply said "wrong." I gave him the IQ test line and left it at that. The support was quiet, strong, and plentiful, as usual.
