The bush comes and goes again.

In repayment to chabot for his venal vote against SCHIP, the disgraceful president bush stopped by the home of a super-rich schmidt constituent to raise money for the chabot.

Along the way in the fantasy tour plucked a few heart strings with a YMCA volunteers at lunken airport, and on the way out partied with some sports paraphernalia types at montgomery inn boathouse.

A few minutes before 5:00 p.m., a welcome is ready.

A cameraman is in place to capture the motorcade coming up the hill and around the corner.

False alarm. Just a cop running with his lights flashing.

Some pro-bush turnip waiting to hit the road.

An equally smart cardboard president.

People were backed up and waiting about 20 minutes.

Like the calm before a storm.

Brand new townhouses.

The chopper arrives on the scene.

And suddenly, the motorcade streaks up the hill.

The phalanx of very loud biker-cops.

And somewhere in one of these vehicles, alfred e. bush.

Maybe even this one.

Then came the press, special guests, and other hangers-on.

Ambulances in case things go quickly downhill.

Finally, the overweight old jerk gets to leave, spewing curses as he sped off.

More of what the bush blew by.

The police shut down Grandin Ave, but Madison was very busy.

So lots of folks got to see our signs.

Eventually I went up Grandin to see what I could see. I saw lots of cops.

A former colleague (a star-struck bushie?) took my picture.

I saw secret service types.

But mostly, cops.

Finally, the bushster hit the road again.

And got to see the signs again.

I hope someone took a picture for him, too.
(I don't suppose he can do that for himself, either.)
